We have a fully staffed and stocked bar with beer, wine and liquor. Please inquire about our stock and if we do not have what you would like, we are happy to order it for you for your party. ​ Catering is also available. We have a wide menu of items for you to choose from. Family Style and Buffet formats are available for your party. ​ Our full kitchen is available for your use if you choose to bring your own food to your party. ​ We are also able to segment sections of the social club to hold separate meetings or to accommodate multiple groups. **Job Overview:**

Position: Bar Manager

Join us at the North Penn Volunteer Fire Company (NPVFC) Social Club as our Part-Time Bar Manager and become the architect of unforgettable social experiences. You'll steer the financial, operational, and promotional endeavors of our cherished gathering spot, ensuring every guest is treated to exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Champion the business aspects of our bar, from licensing to budgeting, supplier relations, and goal setting.
• Maintain inventory of all bar and hall rental related items.
• Coordinate with the catering lead to provide service for social club evenings as well as hall rental events.
• Maintain crucial certifications like RAMP and ServSafe to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Cultivate a stellar team through hiring, training, and policy development.
• Craft efficient schedules and adeptly navigate conflicts to ensure seamless operations during peak hours and events.
• Field hall rental inquiries and assist clients in planning their events from a hall-rental perspective.
• Enforce stringent quality and safety controls while staying abreast of regulatory requirements.
• Spearhead promotional events to bolster NPVFC support and community engagement.
• Manage financial transactions, payroll, and small games of chance with precision.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules for a well-maintained environment.
• Facilitate daily and monthly financial reporting for transparency and accountability.
• Curate the club's social media presence to foster membership growth and event attendance.
• Offer insights on aesthetic updates to enhance the club's allure.
• Foster a vibrant, secure atmosphere for patrons to relish.

Requirements:

• High school diploma; prior restaurant or management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in business management and accounting fundamentals.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and make sound decisions.
• Physical resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Clearances from PA State Police and ChildLine for peace of mind.
